How it calculates the results:
The calculator uses the entered distance and multiplies it by the rate per kilometer, adds the starting fare, any traffic surcharges, and the waiting time charges (calculated by multiplying waiting time by waiting time rate). The formula is:
Total Fare = Starting Fare + (Distance * Rate per Km) + Traffic Surcharge + (Waiting Time * Waiting Rate)
Limitations:
The estimator does not take into account variations in fare rates during different times of the day (e.g. night rates) or any additional charges like tolls or special city fees. It also assumes that traffic conditions apply uniformly across the entire distance traveled.
